Job summary

UBMD Surgery in Buffalo, NY is seeking a full-time GME Training Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day Surgical GME operations. You will work with the GME team, program directors, faculty, and residents to ensure smooth residencies and accreditation compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, exams, recruitment, and education calendars; generating reports; and maintaining documentation while supporting confidentiality and fiscal tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; other combinations with 3+ years related experience considered.
• Graduate Medical Education experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of surgical Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.
• Work collaboratively with the Surgery GME Team, Program Directors, and trainees.
• Distribute instructions, track compliance, and follow up for resident and faculty activities.
• Assist with tasks to meet accreditation requirements and generate reports as requested.
• Organize meetings, calendars, materials, and educational activities; support recruitment and exams.
