Job summary

Shared Practices Group is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant with 1-2 years of experience to support our back-office setup, workflows, and sterile room readiness. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include assisting the doctor chairside, capturing CBCT/panoramic images, educating patients, and maintaining infection control standards while supporting front desk staff and dental lab operations.

Qualifications

• Review patient histories, vital signs, and document medications.
• Set up and break down operatory equipment; charting per standards.
• Assist the doctor chairside during surgical and dental procedures.
• Capture CBCT and panoramic images accurately.
• Educate patients on procedures, prescribed medications, and post-operative instructions.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms per infection control protocols.
• Monitor clinical inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized.
• Provide support to front desk staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain readiness by anticipating clinical needs and assisting with equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support front desk staff as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain procedural readiness and assist with chairside protocols and basic equipment maintenance.
