Shared Practices Group is hiring a Surgical Dental Assistant with 1–2 years of relevant experience to join our fast-growing practice network. You will help establish efficient back-office workflows, support the doctor during procedures, and ensure sterile room readiness to deliver exceptional patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinical and administrative teams, accurate charting, imaging, and adherence to infection control standards, with competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Proficient in dental terminology and clinical charting.
• Experience with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced surgical setting.
• Highly organized, reliable, and professional in demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories, vitals, and medications, alertting the doctor as needed.
• Set up/break down operatory equipment and maintain charts per standards.
• Assist the doctor chairside during surgical procedures.
• Capture CBCT and panoramic images with accuracy.
• Educate patients on procedures, meds, and pre/post operative care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Manage clinical inventory and supply levels.
• Provide support to front desk and maintain team collaboration.
• Maintain readiness and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
