Shared Practices Group is hiring a Surgical Dental Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to support implant and full-arch procedures. You will help establish back-office workflows, ensure sterile setup, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for efficient patient care.

The role requires diligence, a positive attitude, and readiness to contribute from day one. You will assist the doctor and dental lab operations, with Monday–Friday schedules and a $22–$28/hr compensation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic dental terminology.
• Experience with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Knowledge of implant procedures, All-on-Four and overdentures.
• Proficient in taking alginate impression.
• OSHA infection control compliance and HIPAA privacy.
• CBCT/panoramic imaging proficiency.
• Keeps a positive, professional attitude and team mindset.
• Oral surgery environment experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review patient histories, record medications, and alert the doctor as needed.
• Set up/break down operatory equipment; maintain charting for schedule efficiency.
• Assist doctor chairside across surgical/dental procedures.
• Capture CBCT and panoramic images accurately.
• Educate patients on procedures and postoperative care instructions.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control in treatment rooms.
• Manage clinical inventory and supplies.
• Support front desk staff when needed to foster teamwork.
• Maintain readiness and follow chairside protocols with confidence.
• Oversee basic maintenance of office equipment.
