Qualifications

• CSA certification from NBSTSA/NSAA/NCCSA required.
• Virginia registration required if employed there.

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical hand scrub, gowning and gloving; assists on cases.
• Maintains sterile technique; checks instruments and supplies.
• Supports Universal Protocol and patient confidentiality.
• Preps OR equipment and assists with patient positioning and draping.
• Assists with suturing, drains and wound closure under direct supervision.
