Job summary

Cleveland Clinic on the Main Campus seeks a dedicated coordinator to support patient access and care coordination from Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. This role excludes weekends, evenings, and holidays, focusing on accurate data management and timely, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience in patient registration, billing, or scheduling.
• OR 3 years of customer service concierge experience.
• Working knowledge of scheduling systems and PC software.
• Familiarity with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of the system-wide master patient index through validation and data capture.
• Validate patient physician information and ensure accurate collection.
• Identify patients needing financial counseling to ensure payment of services.
• Triage appointments based on diagnosis, patient preferences, and physician specialty.
• Coordinate services and provide instructions requested by patients and physicians.
• Perform scheduling intra- and inter-departmentally as requested by orders.
• Receive orders and schedule according to protocol.
• Ensure accuracy of data including CPT coding and case information.
• Serve as liaison with admitting office for reservations and updates.
• Act as a resource to department staff on daily activity.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide instructions and resources.
