Responsibilities

• Schedule office, surgery center, and hospital procedures with provider and time/location slots.
• Pre-authorize surgeries with insurance providers and enter data into scheduling system.
• Maintain a surgical log for statistics and follow pre-op instructions for patients.
• Coordinate with surgical facilities for equipment or personnel needs.
• Ensure pre-operative labs are ordered and tracked in the EMR.
