Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures based on physician recommendations.
• Verify patient demographics, health history, and insurance information.
• Navigate and schedule patients in Care Cloud EMR system accurately.
• Serve as liaison between patient, surgeons, and hospital for pre-operative steps.
• Explain the need for physical exams, labs, EKGs, imaging, and informed consent.
• Answer telephone inquiries from patients and families about surgery.
