Vision Innovation Partners is seeking a Surgical Coordinator to deliver superior patient experiences. You will liaise with patients, schedule consultations and surgeries, and explain pre/post-operative instructions with care.

The role requires excellent communication, organization, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Responsibilities include discussing costs, handling payments, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced ophthalmic office.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with patients to ensure a positive experience.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with common office software (Word, Excel) and database systems.

Aufgaben

• Liaison to patients; assist with paperwork; create and maintain accurate patient files; update database systems; schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist patients regarding surgery dates, book consultations and surgery, and discuss pre/post-op instructions.
• Discuss surgical costs with patients based on benefits and financing options; answer questions about payments.
• Handle timely follow-up to prospective, current and past patients.
• Prepare patient charts for surgery and provide support before, during and after surgery.
• Collect surgery payments; process financing through financial software; maintain monthly/yearly financial reports.
• Ensure patients have a positive experience in person and over the phone.
