Comprehensive EyeCare Partners seeks a Surgical Services Coordinator to oversee scheduling of surgical procedures and daily facility operations. Responsibilities include coordinating patient bookings, pre-operative steps, and post-operative guidance within a fast-paced ophthalmology environment.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and computer literacy, with a Monday–Friday schedule typical for clinical operations and opportunities for teamwork and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in a surgical specialty, ophthalmology preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient surgical and pre-operative appointments.
• Counsel patients regarding all aspects of surgery including eye drop instructions and post-operative care.
• Collects booking, insurance, H&Ps, and signed consent forms for transfer to the surgical facility.
• Runs accurate calculations as required (LASIK and others).
• Answer inquiries from patients and Shared Care doctors about surgery and related concerns.
• Assist in daily operating room functions for surgical cases.
