You will schedule appointments, manage Epic workflows, handle charge entry, and assist with patient billing questions in a collaborative team. The role emphasizes clear communication, confidentiality, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of EPIC systems and medical office software.
• Excellent verbal communication, confidentiality and teamwork.
• Ability to work with changing priorities and maintain organization.
• Understanding of medical terminology and basic billing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays and balances.
• Schedule new and established patient appointments with provider availability in mind.
• Manage Epic work queues: charge review, edits, follow-up, and missing guarantor issues.
• Resolve patient billing questions and assist with charge capture; collaborate with revenue cycle teams.
• Reconcile daily payments, prepare deposits, answer phones, and perform general admin duties.
• Provide compassionate, clear communication and teamwork to improve patient experience.
