Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules procedures with facilities/providers and obtains pre-certification as needed.
• Provides patient education about testing/surgical process and estimated costs.
• Serves as primary contact, answering calls and coordinating appointments and insurance details.
• Maintains EMR-based appointment entries and communicates scheduling issues to physicians and staff.
• Verifies patient insurance benefits and informs Business Office of patient financial responsibility.
