Responsibilities

• Obtains and correctly enters booking information for surgical time requests.
• Follows scheduling guidelines to increase efficiency and edits data for accuracy.
• Prepares tentative and final surgical schedules with verification.
• Communicates changes to Clinical Leader and Anesthesia Department.
• Audits documentation and charges; supports billing accuracy.
• Acts as Meditech 6.0 super user and attends updates.
• Processes lab orders and coordinates with departments for cost and billing.
• Prioritizes work to cover high-dollar, high-risk accounts.
• Maintains patient revenues and supports internal charge capture.
