Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a diligent Surgery Scheduler to join the OR desk. You will schedule surgical procedures, handle clerical tasks, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced surgical suite.

You will facilitate communication between OR staff, in-house departments, physicians and their offices, other hospitals, patients and families, providing accurate information and timely coordination.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
• Experience: Sufficient previous office experience or clerical experience needed.
• Additional Skills/Abilities: Sufficient previous office experience or clerical experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Attends the OR desk and performs clerical duties.
