United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler at Haymarket Surgery Center. The role centers on maintaining the daily surgery schedule and coordinating with doctors' offices and OR staff to deliver efficient, compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience in scheduling software/EMR systems, and a collaborative mindset to resolve conflicts and support a high-energy team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surgery Scheduler, Medical Office Coordinator, or similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive patient conversations.
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and electronic medical records systems.
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of scheduling.
• Strategize and problem solve to ensure high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from doctors' offices and OR staff.
• Diffuse scheduling conflicts efficiently with strategy; demonstrate strong leadership and communication.
