Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Portfolio Sales Specialist for its Surgery Products portfolio. This field-based role focuses on expanding adoption of adjunctive hemostat products, upgrading accounts, and developing new growth opportunities across designated surgery portfolios.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong sales track record, ability to learn technical product details, and strategic planning skills to drive portfolio initiatives. Travel to accounts will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven successful sales track record with demonstrated ability to grow accounts and convert opportunities.
• Ability to learn, communicate, and apply technical, clinical, scientific, and product information across a broad portfolio.
• Ability to develop account plans, prioritize opportunities, and generate demand within an assigned geography.
• Strong business acumen including written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to collaborate with field sales partners, clinical stakeholders, supply chain contacts, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and drive selling process to action.
• Strong organization, time management, and territory management across a broad portfolio.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
• Valid driver's license meets supplier driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Expand sales within designated surgery portfolio while complying with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Execute end-to-end selling across the portfolio and drive upgrades in targeted accounts.
• Develop and implement account-specific upgrade strategies aligning unmet needs with contracting opportunities.
• Build in-depth knowledge of adjunctive hemostat portfolio and market dynamics for the territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare decision-makers, clinical stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
• Deliver compliant, professional product presentations and portfolio recommendations showing clinical, operational, and financial value.
• Provide post-sale support including in-services, education, and implementation coordination.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to relay market feedback and align portfolio initiatives with priorities.
