- Provide GE HealthCare Surgery (OEC Imaging) region-based support for a single modality
- Learn to complete timely and accurate installations, preventative maintenance, FMIs, and/or ISIs
- Troubleshoot and perform service repairs on designated equipment with experienced field engineers
- Develop the ability to work independently and answer service calls without assistance within one year
- Communicate with teammates, colleagues, and customers to resolve issues and ensure follow-up
- Recommend value-added services to improve customer operational efficiency
- Maintain customer service logs and internal service records
- Order repair parts and manage cycle times
- Use GEHC escalation processes and collaborate with regional and national support on corrective action plans
- Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts
- Engage commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, participate in contract renewals, and support revenue programs
- Build customer relationships and become a trusted business partner
- Monitor competitor information and market trends
- Work onsite at customer locations in the New Mexico/El Paso, Texas area
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship, Apprenticeship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment
- Experience with Web applications and Microsoft suite of products
- Valid Driver's License required and must be maintained
- Willingness to work after hours or rotating on-call schedules, including weekends, as necessary
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods
- Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity
- Required vision abilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
