Job summary

Inframark in Texas seeks a Surface Water Operator I to operate and maintain water treatment facility equipment, monitor production wells, and support daily plant performance. You will document plant data and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain water or wastewater certification.
• Knowledge of process control techniques and safety.
• Ability to perform routine on-site maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Knowledge of regulatory rules.
• Experience in water or wastewater treatment is desirable.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment such as valves, pumps, motors, and disinfection gear.
• Performs testing, monitoring, and basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance, flow, and chemical usage.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Maintains clean, secure facilities and provides customer service as needed.
• All duties as assigned.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call.
