Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Surface Water Operator to operate and maintain equipment at our water treatment facility. You will perform routine testing, monitor wells and unit processes, and document plant performance including flow and chemical usage.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a CDL is preferred. Water/wastewater licenses may be site-specific; join a team that adheres to SOPs and safety standards while supporting customers and on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred; water/wastewater licenses may be site-specific.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends and on-call emergencies.
• Experience in water or wastewater operations desirable.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and other site machinery.
• Conducts routine testing and monitoring of wells, unit processes, and basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance, including daily flow, chemical usage, and dosage.
• Responds to call-outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Keeps facilities clean, neat, and secure.
• Provides customer service when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour on-call.
