Job summary

Inframark is hiring a Water Operator I to operate and maintain equipment in water treatment facilities, with responsibilities across monitoring, testing, and record-keeping. Role includes after-hours coverage and weekend shifts as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations. Training and certifications may be provided on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment such as valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, and disinfection equipment.
• Tests and monitors production wells and water/wastewater processes.
• Documents plant performance and chemical usage.
• Responds to call-outs and after-hours emergencies for repairs.
• Maintains facilities clean, neat, and secure.
