ExxonMobil is seeking a Surface Commercial & Land Advisor based in Midland, TX. You will negotiate and manage surface-related agreements, coordinate surveys, and serve as the primary contact for Midland Basin surface owners, supporting environmental and remediation efforts as needed.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, field brokers, and contractors to ensure timely, compliant land access and project execution, aligned with ExxonMobil's safety standards and regulatory

Qualificações

• 3+ years of surface land experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Upstream oil and gas knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate and draft Surface and Subsurface Use Agreements/ROW/TB Agreements, Water Purchase and Transport Agreements, letter agreements, etc.
• Contact surface owners in advance of company activities to establish rapport and make arrangements.
• Coordinate survey schedule and join field teams to ensure multi-well pads are staked properly.
• Act as point of contact for Midland Basin surface owners with knowledge of oil & gas development and related industries.
• Mitigate complaints and issues on existing asset base; provide Land support for road repair.
• Provide technical and strategic advice on complex land negotiations.
• Ensure drill schedule expectations are met with all company disciplines.
• Visit oil and saltwater spills and coordinate cleanup with Landowners; document reportable spills.
• Daily interface with Environmental team on remediation progress and landowner requirements.
• Promote and adhere to company safety guidelines; ensure contractors comply; attend required safety trainings.
• Performs other duties assigned by the manager.
