Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Commercial & Land Advisor to support land operations in and around Spring, TX. The role focuses on land-related duties, title work, leases, and contract oversight, with travel as needed and collaboration across teams.

Ideal candidates bring upstream oil & gas knowledge and 3+ years of land experience, plus a strong track record in negotiation, due diligence, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of in-house land experience with a relevant degree.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle land-related responsibilities in designated geographic area with limited supervision.
• Manage brokers for title research and due diligence.
• Obtain Title Opinions and cure defects.
• Review and draft leases, term assignments, and contracts and advise on critical dates.
• Assist with preparation of documents to drill exploratory/development wells and lease maintenance.
• Negotiate with other companies for acreage trades, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Coordinate with technical teams on development planning and execution.
• Travel may be required.
