Job summary

Permian Resource in Midland, Texas seeks a Surface Land Technician to prepare complex correspondence and assist the Surface Land Coordinator with oil and gas surface agreements. You will review invoices, code to AFEs, and circulate for approvals while coordinating with Land, Accounting, Drilling, Geology and Operations teams.

Requirements include a minimum of three years in land or related field, strong organizational skills, and experience with land systems such as Quorum.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of industry experience in land or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex and routine correspondence for others' signature.
• Assist Surface Land Coordinator in preparation of more complex contracts, and oil and gas related surface agreements.
• Review invoices, code to appropriate AFE and circulate for approvals, troubleshoot and solve problems related to invoices and coding.
• Researching surface related agreements and ownership of surface rights.
• Creating various reports from Quorum or Land systems.
• Respond to partner submittals.
• Work across company disciplines including Land, Accounting, Drilling, Geology and Operations.
