Job summary

LifeMoves in Palo Alto seeks a Residential Service Coordinator to support clients in interim housing programs, ensuring safety, comfort, and stability. You will respond to client needs, coordinate meals and supplies, and assist with move-ins/move-outs while upholding confidentiality and compassionate care.

The role reports to the Operations & Services Manager and involves daily collaboration with volunteers, donors, and community visitors to create a respectful, welcoming environment focused

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-3 years of consistent equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
• Experience in housing services or homelessness services is relevant.
• Comfort using basic technology, including phone, email, and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to resources as needed.
• Monitor site safety through rounds and observe camera feeds to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations with proper inventory control.
• Prepare spaces for new clients, move-ins, and move-outs; document processes accurately.
• Participate in required trainings and support overall daily operations.
