Job summary

LifeMoves Redwood Family House in Redwood City provides interim housing and supportive services to families. The Residential Service Coordinator helps keep the program site safe, welcoming, and running smoothly, responding to client needs and supporting volunteers and visitors.

You will monitor safety, coordinate meals and supplies, document activities, and assist clients toward housing stability while maintaining confidentiality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-3 years of consistent equivalent experience in related field may substitute for formal education.
• Comfortable using basic technology, including phone and messaging systems, email, Microsoft and Google Suites, and databases to complete administrative tasks.
• Demonstrates care, respect, empathy and DEIB commitment in interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Maintains confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical conduct in all duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to appropriate resources as needed.
• Monitor site safety through regular rounds and camera observation; report maintenance or pest issues.
• Manage facility meals, supplies, donations, inventory and organized storage.
• Support team collaboration by creating reports, updating shift logs and participating in meetings.
• Conduct welcomes, move-ins, transitions, and move-outs with accurate documentation and respectful handling.
