Job summary

LifeMoves is hiring a Program Aide in Mountain View to help keep the site welcoming and safe for clients and visitors. You will respond to client needs, support volunteers, and assist with daily operations from opening rounds to room preparation.

The role emphasizes calm, compassionate client interaction, coordination with the Operations & Services Manager, and collaboration with the team to ensure smooth service delivery while supporting clients toward housing stability.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field preferred; or High School Diploma/GED with 2-5 years of related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft and Google Suites, email, and basic databases.
• DEIB and respectful, empathetic client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to appropriate resources as needed.
• Support daily operations by responding to needs and questions from clients, volunteers, donors, and visitors with radical hospitality, professionalism, and compassion.
• Monitor site safety through regular rounds and camera observation; report maintenance or pest issues promptly.
• Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations, ensuring proper inventory and organized storage.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, shift logs, and meeting participation.
• Maintain confidentiality, boundaries, and professionalism in all interactions.
