Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support Route Driver in Minot, ND to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while upholding safety, service, and delivery standards.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday starting at 7:30 AM with overtime expectations; starting wage is $21.00 to $26.25 per hour, based on experience, with paid overtime after 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver\'s license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to operate a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
