Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support Route Driver to fill in on open or unassigned routes, supporting daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards.

The position is full-time with a 7:30 AM start on weekdays, potential overtime (10–15 hours weekly, and weekend OT as needed). Starting wage is $21.00–$26.25 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
