Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a dedicated Support Route Driver based in Minot, North Dakota, to fill in on open or unassigned routes and support daily delivery operations. The role emphasizes flexibility to cover varying routes while upholding safety, service, and delivery standards.

Typical hours run Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM until route completion, with 10–15 hours of overtime possible weekly and voluntary weekend OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record meeting company standards.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
