This role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards. Starting wage ranges from $21.00 to $26.25 per hour based on experience, with overtime to time and a half after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to operate a manual transmission and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers on schedule.
• Inspect vehicle and report mechanical issues.
• Load truck efficiently to maximize space and protect packages.
• Collect payments for certain deliveries.
• Verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
