Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations in Duluth, MN. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to learn.
• Must have strong customer service skills and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle
• Travel may be required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
