Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable manager-like leader for an hourly position in Georgia. You will w ow customers with friendly service, train the crew in BEST practices, and oversee daily store operations and onboarding.

This role requires at least 1 year of management experience and strong communication skills. You will help open/close the store, secure cash, manage schedules, and ensure merchandise is accurately stocked.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing any urgent issues.
• Manage the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and procedures to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses: optimize merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including garbage removal, sweeping, bathrooms, and stock room upkeep.
