Job summary

Five Below in Athens, GA is hiring for a leadership-focused hourly role. You’ll serve as Manager on Duty, supervise store associates, secure cash, open/close the store, and coach teams to deliver fast, friendly service.

The position requires a High School diploma, at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure. Flexible schedule, including weekends and some overnight shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and staff performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and ensure daily operations.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and customer service improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
