Job summary

Five Below in Waterloo, IA, is seeking an hourly Crew Leader/Store Manager on duty to join our fast-paced team. You will help oversee store operations, train associates, and ensure customers receive a WOW experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of management, strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. We offer an hourly starting pay of $11.50 and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing urgent issues.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates, improving performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and customer service.
