Job summary

Five Below is seeking an empowered crew lead to drive a WOW customer experience in a fast-paced store environment. You will supervise team members, train staff on service excellence, open/close procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires clear communication, multitasking, and a proactive approach to merchandising and guest satisfaction. The position is hourly with starting pay at $14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on best customer service practices.
• Oversees daily store activities and supervises associates.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, and maintains security.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and store initiatives.
• Performs store maintenance tasks.
