Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals in Louisville, KY invites students to join a 12-week Summer Intern - Supply Chain/Logistics, May–August. Interns will collaborate with logistics, planning, and production teams on real projects on the manufacturing floor, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while contributing to efficiency initiatives.

The program targets students pursuing a Bachelor's in SCM or related fields, with a 3.0+ GPA, and an interest in manufacturing, logistics, and supplier

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in SCM, logistics, business management, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA; sophomore/junior/senior standing at internship time.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work with logistics, planning, and production on real projects.
• Support planning, coordination, and movement of materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist with inventory tracking and supplier communication.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
