Job summary

UW Interco, LLC is hiring interns for Summer 2027 at our locations in Cincinnati, OH, Faribault, MN, and Louisville, KY. The 12-week program runs May–August and offers hands-on project experience, professional development, and mentorship.

You will work with logistics, planning, and production teams on real projects to gain exposure to engineering processes. Qualified students currently pursuing a four-year degree in SCM or related fields must have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at a four year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related engineering field.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and spending time on the production floor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside logistics, planning, and production teams on real projects.
• Support the planning, coordination, and movement of materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist with tracking inventory and material levels.
• Help coordinate shipments and deliveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Assisting with purchasing and supplier communication.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
