Job summary

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is looking for motivated students or recent graduates to join as a 12-week summer Supply Chain Intern in Owensboro, KY. The role includes mentorship, orientation, and hands-on assignments across Materials Management, Procurement, Facilities Services, and Contracts.

The internship exposes you to data analysis, process improvement, and daily supply chain operations, with potential full-time opportunities upon completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old by start and maintain a 2.75 GPA.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and reporting for supply chain activities.
• Process improvement initiatives within the department.
• Provide operational support for inbound/outbound flows.
• System management tasks using Oracle, RF Smart, and Excel.
• Contract negotiation and coordination between stakeholders.
• Documentation and compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
