Apogee Enterprises Inc. in Louisville, KY (also Cincinnati, OH and Faribault, MN) offers a Summer 2027 internship (May–August, 12 weeks) with hands-on project experience, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

Interns work with engineering and production teams on real projects, including time on the manufacturing floor, to develop skills and business acumen. You'll gain exposure to process improvements, lean initiatives, and cross-location collaboration, preparing for a career in manufacturing

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing during internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with engineering, production, maintenance and quality teams.
• Comfortable on the production floor in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and take initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Work alongside quality, engineering, and production teams on real projects.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor learning processes, equipment, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Collect and analyze production data.
• Support process improvement, equipment, tooling, and layout projects.
• Assist with time studies, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Help implement engineering solutions and see projects through to completion.
