Job summary

Grainger is seeking graduates for the Supply Chain Rotational Development Program (SCRDP), a three-year, three-rotation track designed to build experience in analytics, operations, and customer experience. You will develop technical and leadership skills, guiding projects and teams within a distribution center and across Grainger's supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with preference in business, supply chain management, engineering, mathematics, or related analytical disciplines.
• Relevant experience with data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, Power BI or similar, through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Exposure to predictive analytics, optimization, and emerging AI applications in supply chain decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Have the opportunity to rotate across three Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Experience functions during the program.
• Learn and understand the interactions between key end-to-end Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Experience functions and apply learnings to assist with key business initiatives.
• Lead a group of up to 25 distribution center team members to drive operational excellence and support Grainger's mission to keep the world working.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects designed to reduce operational costs or improve service for our customers.
• Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to drive cross-functional continuous improvement efforts across Grainger's Supply Chain.
• Develop data analytics to measure department KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement using SQL-based queries, data modeling, and visualization tools.
