Job summary

Grainger is offering a Supply Chain Rotational Development Program, a three-year, three-rotation path designed to build expertise in analytics, operations, and customer experience. You will gain experiences across inventory planning, supplier performance, transportation, DC engineering, and continuous improvement analytics.

Graduates will work with data analytics tools, collaborate with leadership, and may advance to senior-level roles within Grainger's Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Expected graduation December 2026 or June 2027.
• Bachelor's degree with preference in business, supply chain, engineering, mathematics or related analytical disciplines.
• Relevant experience with data analysis tools and techniques (SQL, Python, Power BI or similar).
• Exposure to predictive analytics, optimization, and AI in supply chain decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across three Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Experience functions.
• Understand interactions between key end-to-end functions and apply learnings to business initiatives.
• Lead a group of up to 25 distribution center team members to drive operational excellence.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to reduce costs or improve service.
• Apply problem-solving to drive continuous improvement across Grainger's Supply Chain.
• Develop data analytics to measure KPI's and identify opportunities using SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools.
• Leverage analytics, automation, and predictive insights for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
• Become proficient with data analytics, reporting, and tools like Snowflake, Power BI, BO, SAP; use Python or similar.
