Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Grand Prairie, TX. You will collaborate with supply chain planners to forecast demand, monitor forecasts and quotas, and define performance metrics to optimize distribution and availability.

You will coordinate with multiple functions including sales, finance, and production, assist with supplier negotiations, and implement improved supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve service.

Qualifications

1–3 years of logistics services and/or warehouse fulfillment experience.
Hazmat certification a plus.
Knowledge of transportation principles and costs.
Willing to work a variable schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand and create supply plans.
Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes and effects on supply chain activities.
Define performance metrics for distribution cost, availability, etc.
Develop procedures for coordination with sales, marketing, finance, and production.
Assist with supplier negotiations and discuss forecasts and changes.
Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics and production changes.
Design or implement supply chain processes and systems.
Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery requirements.
Document supply chain processes and forecasts.
