Job summary

Crane in Irving, TX seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Analyst/Data Analyst/Supply Chain Engineer to design end-to-end solutions, analyze freight flows, and develop network strategies to improve service, cost, and customer outcomes.

You will build automated reporting, create KPIs across functions, and collaborate across Operations, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Technology in an Agile environment; 5+ years experience and SQL/ETL skills preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Data Analyst, or Supply Chain Engineer; Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills; familiarity with statistics or analytical techniques.
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize end-to-end supply chain solutions to improve operational efficiency, service, cost, and customer outcomes.
  • Analyze freight flows, lane density, carrier utilization, and shipment patterns to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop continuous move, backhaul, pool distribution, consolidation, and network engineering strategies.
  • Support transportation procurement initiatives through network modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Evaluate mode optimization opportunities across truckload, LTL, intermodal, parcel, and dedicated transportation.
  • Develop enterprise-wide KPIs supporting Operations, Carrier Management, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Build automated reporting solutions to provide real-time visibility into operational performance.
  • Create predictive and descriptive analytics supporting strategic decision making.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational opportunities, implementing process enhancements, and measuring business performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Carrier Management, Procurement, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Technology to develop and implement enterprise supply chain solutions.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Data Analyst, or Supply Chain Engineer
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
