Job summary

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Engineering to assist and guide material requisitions for procurement.
• Forms bid packages and issues bid requests; coordinates bidders’ questions; receives proposals.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations to award.
• Prepares and commits purchase orders within their authority.
• Communicates with suppliers and Bechtel to establish clear definition of requirements and to assure supplier performance.
• Identifies, defines, and secures agreement regarding purchase order changes.
