Bechtel is seeking a procurement professional in Houston to form and administer purchase orders for the Thacker Pass project, including bidder qualification, bid packaging, and negotiations with suppliers to meet project needs.

You will prepare bidder lists, issue bid requests, and coordinate with Engineering to ensure requisitions align with project priorities. The role emphasizes supplier performance, PO changes, and timely execution.

Qualifikationen

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepares bidders' lists and qualifies bidders.
• Coordinates with Engineering to assist material requisitions and ensure understanding to process requisitions.
• Forms bid packages and issues bid requests, coordinates bidders' questions, and receives bids.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations to award.
• Communicates with suppliers and Bechtel personnel to define requirements and ensure PO conformance.
• Identifies, defines, and secures agreement regarding PO changes.
• Initiates and processes PO revisions affecting scope, cost, and schedule.
