Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in a procurement-focused role. You will oversee the development and preparation of purchase orders, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with project requirements for a major energy and infrastructure portfolio.

The position will start in Reston and may mobilize to the field locations in Fairbanks, IN and Reston, VA. A bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, agreement / order drafting (with legal support as required).
• Administration and negotiation of changes, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of project purchasing and PO administration.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares project master purchase pro-forma documents with terms and conditions.
• Maintains bidder lists with input from procurement and operations.
• Reviews international purchasing conditions for compliance with directives and governance.
• Forms, issues, and administers purchase orders.
• Directs negotiations following supervisor-approved plan.
