Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a procurement professional to manage the formation and administration of purchase orders. You will prepare bidders’ lists, qualify bidders, form bid packages, issue bid requests, and participate in supplier negotiations to support project needs.

The role requires strong attention to PO compliance, approvals, and change management, with a focus on achieving on-time delivery and defined cost targets across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; international equivalent acceptable.
• 2–5 years of relevant procurement experience, or 6–9 years total experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bidders’ lists and qualifies bidders.
• Forms bid packages and issues bid requests.
• Coordinates bidders’ questions and receives bids.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendation for award.
• Communicates with suppliers and internal teams to ensure PO requirements.
• Monitors supplier performance per contract terms.
