Job summary

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking an Outer Limits Supervisor to lead the retail experience at our specialty snow-sports shop.

You will guide the day-to-day operations, ensuring guest-focused service, accurate POS transactions, and adherence to retail standards in a fast-paced mountain setting. The role involves training, inventory control, and employee engagement, with opportunities to assist the HPC team as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season.
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
• Supervisory experience.
• Cash handling and Point of Sale experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Outer Limits team in day-to-day shop operations.
• Ensure strong guest service and adherence to retail standards and loss-prevention policies.
• Contribute to training, inventory control, and employee engagement; support HPC team when needed.
• Lead by example and develop a welcoming, knowledgeable retail experience for guests.

Position Overview

Lead the retail experience at Mt. Hood Meadows’ specialty snow-sports shop! As the Outer Limits Supervisor, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operation of the shop while creating an exceptional experience for guests looking for the gear, apparel, and expertise to make the most of their time on the mountain.

You’ll lead and support the Outer Limits team, ensuring strong guest service, efficient operations, accurate POS transactions, and adherence to retail and loss-prevention standards. You’ll also contribute to training, inventory control, employee engagement, and overall retail operations, with opportunities to support our HPC team when needed.

This is a full-time, seasonal position

Qualifications& Experience

• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
• Supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Ski and Snowboard industry experience preferred
• PreviousSupervisory experience
• Excellent communication, organizational and evaluation skills
• Warehouse experience preferred, knowledge of snow sports market
• Inventory control experience
• Basicproficiencyin MS Office; higher level Excel skills preferred
• Familiarity with RTP desired
• Employment in this position is subject to a satisfactory background screening.

Compensation:

• Starting Wage: $ 20.99 - $23.32 hourly
