Job description

Position Overview

The HPC Supervisor leads the day-to-day operation of the High Performance Center while helping create an exceptional experience for guests looking for expert ski and snowboard equipment and service. This position oversees the HPC shop and staff, supports inventory and point-of-sale operations, and ensures guests receive knowledgeable, personalized service throughout their experience. The Supervisor leads by example, develops staff, and helps maintain the quality and service standards that contribute to strong guest relationships and the overall success of Mt. Hood Meadows Retail.

Working closely with the Retail Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling, staff training and coaching, inventory management, cycle counts, POS accuracy, loss prevention, and maintaining efficient shop operations. The High Performance Supervisor also supports RTP administration and training, assists with conflict resolution and guest recovery, and works with the Outer Limit Sales and Rental teams as needed. Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of the ski and snowboard industry are important to successfully balancing guest service with the operational demands of a busy seasonal retail environment.

This is an active, hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for snow sports and high-quality equipment. The ideal candidate is an experienced retail or service leader who is comfortable coaching a team, making decisions independently, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
