AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. in Chicago seeks an Ocean Freight Supervisor to ensure timely execution of export shipments and to oversee operational procedures.

You will maintain customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support acquisition of new customers to drive service excellence. The role involves supervising and developing staff, handling customs clearance, and coordinating CRM data while optimizing processes for on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration.
• 5 Years of Experience in Forwarding Leadership role.
• Fluent oral and written English is a must.
• Experience in leading negotiation and discussions.
• Organizational talent as well as analytical skills.
• Quick perception and open for changes.
• High affinity for organizational and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate export and import shipments
• Optimize processes and procedures

Overview

As anOcean Freight Supervisor, you will ensure the smooth and timely execution of export shipments while overseeing and continuously improving operational procedures and processes. You will maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships, identify opportunities for business growth, and support the acquisition of new customers to drive service excellence and commercial success.

• Management of the export & import shipments in organizational and technical terms
• Securing smooth and on time processing
• Optimizing and securing the documentation of procedures and processes
